A RegioExpress train on the Albula-I viadukt between Muot and Preda

Freight cars that have to be delivered quickly often do the climb from Chur to Samedan on the end of one of the non-GEX/BEX trains. It's not a practice on the Surselvalinie though where most trains don't have time for shunting and go beyond Chur as far as Scuol-Tarasp.
