Of course the track should be cared for but there’s no need for a 160 km/h track here, some tampering and the winnowing of the trackbed would be just enough. The biggest problem is, however, that a local bus service at Tunyogmatolcs wouldn’t get the same subsidies as long-distance busses and trains get, not even if it’s playing a role in long-distance traffic as a chain link as a feeder to the railway.
