This line is (as opposed to other nearby lines like the ones to Zajta, Csenger, Nagykereki or Létavértes) connected to the Romanian tracks over the border. A few years ago domestic trains termined at Ágerdőmajor, a station built directly at the border in the middle of framlands but now they termine at Tiborszállás. The station was rebuilt and is more suited for turning trains around even though the barriers at the two end of the first platform has to be opened and closed every time. At least Tiborszállás is a village, not just a cross on a military map with a good name, there are more than a thousand people living here and served by the railway. See this beautiful Google aerial photograph for Ágerdőmajor’s isolatedness.
