Tramcar number 2624, a typical historic tram with a steel replacement chassis built at Füzesi Főműhely
The car was returned from Amsterdam. It is the first steel replacement chassis tram that enters regular historic services at Budapest (their was a so-called twin car ikerkocsi
already at Debrecen). There are a few cars with similar bodies stored in a running condition at the public transport museum at Szentendre, but because the new, Austrian-made tram rails wouldn't allow these cars to safely run on the entire network BKV decided not to bring them back to the city for the newly reborn historic tram traffic.
