Börgönd

Apart from Angyalföld, Börgönd is the station used by filmmakers for its atmosphere, empty tracks and the unused adjecent line to Szabadbattyán. A pasta advertisment filmed here shows a Bzmot local train waiting to depart but it can’t, as the railwayman is cooking a delicious Gyermelyi paszta. Of course, the passangers senseing the food are very understanding.
Another film made here is the action movie Európa-expressz, which is about russian maffia members wanting to get to Vienna by train. They are fooled by a hostage that happens to be a policewoman (Dobó Kata).
