The M41 2314 between Szendrő station and Szendrőlád stop
Szendrőlád stop is at one of the narrowest parts of the valley, it's hard to imagine there used to be a second track for loading goods, especially as there is a bridge over the Bódva river just at the end of the current platform. After the stop the valley opens a little bit to give room to Szendrőlád village but after that the railway sticks to the right-hand side of the river running along the feet of the hills in a steady but small gradient.
