The Gödöllő line is one of the four suburban lines electrified by 1000 V DC catenary system and, as opposed to other railways, operated by the BKV, not MÁV. The Csepel and Szentendre lines are heavy commuter routes, more like an S-Bahn or overground Metró
railway, while the Ráckeve line is like a small branch line. Gödöllő is something in-between. The base of the route is at Cinkota.
