I would like to call your attention to such microscopic details like the station with a tunnel in the middle, or Mala Rijeka Most (The Bridge over the Little River), world’s tallest railway bridge. They didn’t spend much time building serpentines and other tricky mountain railway-stuff, they just built the tracks on the top of the mountains.
