Many didn’t think it will happen: a 1142 with the new logo. It was feared that these nice-nosed locomotives will be scrapped before their next repaint, but they still serve. This one will aid a freight train climb the Semmering by pushing the train, while its original locomotive will pull. Pushing on high grades is an economic solution (as opposed to halving the trains), but faces the driver with a very difficult task.
