The M47 1333 between Eplény and Veszprém
(Győr-Veszprém-Dombóvári HÉV)
Leaving the Balaton for a fewphotos we went to the Bakony mountains, the mountain range with railways that are the most important for any railfan for their colourful landscapes and many types of trains. The main line from Székesfehérvár to Szombathely of course brings a number of freight trains, sometimes with helpers, and also the new MÁV class 480 TRAXX locomotive appeared a few times there. But now we visited the connecting branch lines, where the short passenger trains go mostly with large M41 locomotives, and freight trains, such as this one, that brought coal for the heating of the stations, run around like bees in a hive hauled by little but powerful M47 shunters.
