The six-axled rod-powered locomotives are said to be the world's oldest electric locomotives in daily use. This one was built in 1911. by Krauss & Comp. (mechanical parts) and Siemens-Schuckert (electrical parts). If they succeed with buying new rolling stock for the line (I'd be surprised if that would mean anything other than Stadler GTW 2/6 multiple units), then the MÁV V43s will take over :).
