The M47 2032 near Litke

Litke lies in a curve of the Ipoly river, flowing between the two hills you can see in this picture. The one to the right is already in Slovakia: they got this land from the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy after the First World War claiming the Ipoly to be a strategic waterway. The new border was drawn by the Ipoly despite it sometime not being suitable even for a canoe to pass, and a barge or any other goods ship never had a chance of navigating it.
