They started to dismantle the Újpest Railway Bridge
Half a section is craned down at a time while the other half is kept in place by a staging raised on a barge. Originally the military bridge was designed so it can be dismantled by unscrewing the screws, as re-assembling wasn't in the plans they used acethylene cutters instead. Too bad, as the Government promised to raise bridges on the Ipoly River of the sections, but that plan was dropped as currently Hungarians living outside the borders are irrelevant.
