The Bzmot 197 near Zalaszentgyörgy

Despite the closed line between Ukk and Zalaszentiván, there are plenty of freight trains going towards Szombathely or Nagykanizsa from Zalaszentiván, still leaving the country through Hodos. They are the main attraction of this line: you can catch real, huge freight trains with the most beautiful heavy diesel locomotive in a landscape where normally only Bzmots run (like in Nógrád or the Eger-Putnok line).
