Dramatic sunset at the Nagyrákos viaduct

The viaduct was built to protect the environment in the Õrség National Park, and later became a touristic highlight as the village Nagyrákos organizes a Viaduct Fair every year, an event much more interesting than standard village days. It’s great to visit it with the family, and there’s much room for railfanning during your visit to the traditional Hungarian land!
