The Mk48-410 at Gyöngyös at the forestry railway's station

Though the station is a three-minute walk from the main station, so it's not as close as at Kismaros or Nyíregyháza, still it's one of the best situated narrow gauge stations in Hungary in the centre of a fairly big city. The two lines and the colourful set of locomotives and carriages make the Mátravasút a popular destination - especially now, when they started to market themselves with attractive, regular timetables and tematic programs.
