The Budapest electric trams are 125 years old - the first BKV historic tram to wear its late, steel chassis running as a scheduled historic service at Vigadó tér
The tram returned from Amsterdam. BKV has other trams in working condition with similar steel chassises, but they have a very long distance between the axes and thus are considered very bad for the track. This is the first steel-body tram that entered a similar historic service as the equally old, but wooden frame comrades.
