The rising Sun at Vámosgyörk

Todays top subject is the small shuttle train that goes from the Vámosgyörk mainline station to the city of Gyöngyös. This consists of a V43 locomotive, a Bhv car and a BDt driving trailer. Such trains ran between Aszód and Vác before it closed and between Hegyeshalom and Rajka (often only a BDt was coupled to the V43) before the Talents and FLIRTs took over. Between Szeged and Kiskunfélegyháza the nearly empty passanger trains consist of a V43 and a Bhv.
