The STLB Murtalbahn VS42 driving trailer and the original Stahlbau Knotz VT31 railcar, the first member of the big series seen between Lutzmannsdorf and Kreischberg Talstation
The Murtalbahn, connecting to the Rudolfsbahn at Unzmarkt is a commuter railway running in the Mur valley, therefore always close to the inhabited areas. It also has a very small average distance between stations and depots, meaning it's very accessible to passengers. The timetable however is very scarce, only one train every two hours, and between Murau and Unzmarkt even that is an improvement this year as previously some services turned back to Tamsweg from Murau-Stolzalpe. Quality is way behind what I'm used to at the Rhaetian Railways .
