There is no watchman working here anymore, the trains have to stop before the level crossing until a crewmember lowers the barrier, then the train passes, and the bar can be lifted again. After that the unfortunate crewmember may have to walk 600 meters if he happened to be with a long coal train. Passenger trains ran from Lucenec to Vel'ky Krtíš until 27-09-1992 and to Kalonda until 02-02-2003. Here of course only a solo railcar could turn back, so they used class 810 railcars .
