The M62 235 in a nice and fresh paintjob at Pécs

The freight train we saw a few pictures before went on to the marshalling yard called Pécsbánya-Rendező. The track is electrified until that station so usually thy change the locomotives of freight trains there. There's a double track until Pécs-Külváros, but one would be needed in the direction of Szentlőrinc too, where two mainlines share just one track - the railway to Budapest and to Vienna. The two passing loops are usually occupied by a passanger train to Barcs, or as this morning, by freight trains waiting for some free slot in the line to Pécsbánya-Rendező. But it's not going to be M62 235 to haul that empty coal train to the border - they'll use the other freight loco of the line M62 175 instead.
