Had I not missed the REX I would have gone on, but I was stuck at Klaus. It used to be the terminus of the second section of the railway, still built as a regional line, and it had a connection to the Steyrtalbahn narrow gauge network also. This building is like the main line buildings though, and it has a reason: after 1901., when the Pyhrnbahn construction started over the pass, the station of Klaus, that had been at the bottom of the village was put higher on the hillside and the tracks were replaced from the curvy riverside into the 522-metres-long Hungerbichl-Tunnel between Micheldorf and Klaus.
