The subway hall at Rautatientori

The large open area with bright lighting provides Rautatientori to be a very comfortable meeting point with lots of high quality shops and services around (ice cream, for instance, that Finnish people love eating even in winter, but of course they only can do in closed places), as opposed to Hungay’s railway square subway, which stinks - the difference, I think, is in the intents of the owner, that is, the local governemnt. It’s not the people who make a place stink, it’s those who designate a place for it.
