The RhB Gem 4/4 802 electro-diesel locomotive with an unidientified ABe 4/4 II between Ospizio Bernina and Alp Grüm

The locomotives often worked in pairs with a railcar before the arrival of the Allegra trainsets. As these two units have the same type of electric equipment, there is no real difference in their tractive forces, the locomotives were only used because the number of railcars was low.
