The Ge 4/4I 603 at Landquart
They were the first modern, bogie electric locomotives of the Rhätische Bahn with medium tractive effort and a high speed. Though they don't look like in fact these locomotives are very old, this one was comissioned 13/08/1943, but recieved superb maintenance and refurbishment (and a completely new cab design) in the past sixty-eight years. During our visit only five of them was intact and now only four are in operating condition, the others have been scrapped. In the summer timetable there are 2-3 locomotives running but when we were there in springtime they were in reserved at Landquart.
