The RhB Ge 6/6^II 705 heavy freight and fast train locomotive between Ilanz and Castrisch - the background already gives an idea on what is waiting for trains getting over the Oberalppass

Károly arrived to the photosite for this magnificient freight train and I took a little bit higher stand than for the Valserzug that I photographed from the sidewalk. The Vorderrhein is right behind the line of trees and you can also see the Surselva-Bundesstrasse at the bottom of the hill.
