Though most locomotives are strictly assigned to either the passenger company (ŽSSK) or the freight company (ŽSCS, aka ŽSSKC), shunters often appear doing the job for both companies: why should they keep two shunters at a small station like Privigye (Prievidza) or keep spare parts in stock for 4 or 5 class 110 direct current shunters in the depots of the passenger company, when ŽSCS uses most of them?
