The ŽSSK 754 300 seen between U¾anka and Dolny Harmanec

Even though I publish this album in May, considering the weather in 2019 it is not inappropriate to add snow photos from the Fatra mountains. Line number 170 in Slovakia has been an old hunting ground for me, as it is close to Budapest. We have been here many times but I think in this album I will manage to show photos from directions I haven't previously shown. Thanks to a freshly cut part of the woods the U'lanka viaduct became a lot more visible than previously. In the background you can see the station through which the retro-livery locomotive has pulled its train through just two minutes before. At the bottom of the valley is the road to Donovaly (a ski resort) and from the road a hiking trail leads up to the point just outside the right-hand side of the photo. A good pair of hiking boots is required though.
