The V42 527 near Kisnémedi
The commuter railway maintains a distance from the hills, but the electrified mainline allowing freight trains to pass Budapest from the North boldly climbs them. Though it's a modern railway with cuttings and elevations instead of tunnels or viaducts, at the smooth running on 80 kph one can find it a rather pleasent railway journey, though short, with just over 10 kilometres.
