These railcars were used by the Arad-Csanádi Egyesült Vasutak, a company operating secondary lines in the current territory of Southern-Hungary, Romania and Serbia, and by 1906 36 of them ran as the passenger trains on most of their lines. This way ACSEV was the first to introduce petrol powered trains on all its routes in Hungary. They were also a pioneer in the operation of steam railcars a decade before.
