Another one of our trips lead us to the High Tatras. After finally capturing the Tatranská Kométa a few years ago the only thing missing was the EMU 89 multiple unit developed for the Northern Ski World Championships of 1970. These tram-like trams actually have train-like bogies and underframe and were the sole rolling stock on the Poprad-Tatry to Strbské Pleso and Tatranská Lomnica routes for many years, but I am too young to have met them in real life; all my TEŽ (Tatranská Električka Železnica) photos show one of the GTW 2/6 Tetrapak
EMUs.
I have a dedicated, daily gallery for Slovakian shots as I used to visit the country extremely often before the Coronavirus outbreak and many of my galleries, travelogues are going to go there, but not this one: this one requires its own album on the database, Still, having a look at the new daily gallery structure nay be worthvile:
