The LÁEV D02-508 hauling a freight train uphill between Papírgyár and Puskaporos stations
(Lillafüredi Erdei Vasút)
Though the downtown section is very interesting (a mine used to have a loading station among the houses), in the genre I prefer Szokolya, where the houses are older and more village-like. After Majláth the railway crosses the Szinva river and starts to climb uphill, well over the valley floor. At Papírgyár the line to Farkasgödör-Örvénykő branches to the right and immediately descends back to the valley floor to cross it. The main line still climbs up at such a gradient that we didn't risk stopping our freight train just here.
