An E1 class tram that formerly ran in Vienna now on tram line 2 at Miskolc-Tisza station

On my opinion this is the best looking railway station inside the current borders of Hungary, and definitely the best in means of services (followed by Szombathely, Debrecen and Dombóvár with no hope for any Budapest station to get near). There was a thorough tram reconstruction going on at the time with new concrete roofs above the platforms under construction (each has some kind of unique decoration). Tram line 1 was already extended to Majláth, a few kilometres more into Diósgyőr than before, where the bus line 1 had its terminus and where the service station of the LÁEV forestry railway stands.
