The ŽSSK 812 005-1 seen between Hnúš�a zastávka and Hnúš�a

After the photos in the morning we went on towards the mountains covered in autumn foliage, first the area of Veporských vrchov. Previously I had three trips to the Jesenské - Rimavska Sobota - Tisovec - Brezno railway but mostly took photos of the steam-powered historic rack-and-pinion trains, so this time we focused on the class 812 railcars that provide the everyday trains around here. These example are surprisingly still carrying their original, crimson and white, thin stripe livery. Our first shot here took place at the Tisovec - Rimavská Sobota section where the traffic is more intense. It is worth having a look at some other photos we took on the railway:
