Bence Takács, that is, Me!

Let us descend to the underground system of the Helsinki metro! This is not that easy as most of the network runs on the surface, deep tunnels were only cut under the city centre beginning North of Hakaniemi.

This picture was taken on the escalator of the newly added station Kajsaniemi which is located halfway between old stations Hakaniemi and Rautatientori (the paralell tram service has a stop just at the Metro station entrance so I don’t know why this station was added, though it’s used). Decoration includes semi-transparent mirrors with neon tubes and illuminated photographs behind them that seem to be floating in a black void if looked at from the trains.
