The V46 034 helping pull up the first Hungarian-built V43 its heavy freight train between Városlőd and Szentgál
The track may have seemed flat but the fast train didn’t go faster than 60 kph with eight cars and it’s not accidental that the tracks don’t just cross the side valley but rather run around it as long as they can before heading towards Ajka again. Freight trains usually need an additional locomotive for more force between Herend and Ajka stations which is now a V46 class heavy shunter.
