Our next stop was the also Czechoslovakian built new railway line, the number 170 Banská Bystrica - Dolná Stubňa. It was built as a reconstruction and extension of the siding from the Zvolen to Brezno line to the Harmanec paper mill to Dolná Stubňa on line 171 towards Vrútky. The Southern side needed a lot of bridges and tunnels and a curvy track to gain height.
