The ŽSSK 405 953-1 seen between Štrbské pleso and Tatranský Lieskovec

It is worth taking photos of the Tatra Rack Railway / Štrba - Štrbské Pleso Rack Railway as well as ŽSSK has already placed an order for five new GTW trainsets that will be capable of running on both the Rack Railway and the Tatra Electric Railway. The trains themselves are going to be identical to the similarly used trainsets of the MVR and the AOMC in Switzerland and are going to be supported by a rack and adhesion capable, dual mode (catenary and diesel) locomotive which will be used for departmental duties, also supported by Stadler and identical to TPC's three such locomotives .
